BEELC becomes a part of S&T Group

S&T System Integration & Technology Distribution AG has acquired 100% of the Polish Enterprise Resources Planning specialist BEELC Polska Sp. z o.o.

BEELC Polska, which was founded in 1999 and has 20 employees, will reinforce S&T’s strong Polish presence in the ERP sector. Specialists from BEELC will provide high-end services such as the localisation and implementation of BAAN/SSA ERP systems, the modification of applications to suit individual customer requirements, and support and maintenance services. These activities will complement the Group’s existing experience in the manufacturing industries.

Given BEELC’s portfolio in this business segment the acquisition fits seamlessly into S&T‘s ERP strategy. S&T thus has all the competences needed to deliver solutions for complex projects in the manufacturing industries and to confirm its claim to technological leadership.

"The takeover of BEELC brings us a number of strategic advantages. Besides strengthening the ERP business in Poland, we will be able to increase critical mass in this important IT growth market while the Krakow location will improve our geographical coverage in the country. The acquisition nicely rounds off our customer portfolio in Poland and we see a great deal of potential for cross-selling in the future," explained Christian Rosner, the new Chief Executive Officer of S&T AG.

BEELC will be consolidated in the S&T Group as of January 1, 2006. It was agreed that all other details of the transaction would be treated confidentially.
