 SAMBA are free seminars organised by BEELC for Infor (Baan) ERP users with active maintenance (OPS, One Point Support) agreements. Seminars cover issues and organisation of support and maintenance. SAMBA seminars are organised in co-operation with KUBA (Polish Baan User Club).
 There is a CD-ROM with photos from SAMBA seminars 1997-2008 (Racibórz, Płock, Kraków, Toruń, Wrocław, Katowice...) available for the participants.
Next user seminar is going to be held on 14-15 May 2009 in Kocierz and Kęty

SAMBA.08.2 - 21st Polish Infor Baan / LN User Conference |

 21st Baan / LN User Conference (SAMBA.08.2) was held on 23 and 24 October 2008 in Owl Mountains (Bielawa) and Nowa Ruda/Przygórze. As usual it gathered approx. 100 participants. During the conference Infor presented its development roadmap, BEELC - latest functional extensions of BAAN/LN PL, EDI, costing and planning functionality, ZPAS - LN implementation, S&T - the approach to modern architecture systems, and IBM dedicated hardware and database solutions for Baan /LN users. There were 6 specialised workshop sessions as well. The participants visited 3 manufacturing locations of innovative ZPAS Group (one of suppliers of LHC project) - one of newest Baan 6 (ERP LN) users with a very broad spectrum of implemented ERP features.

SAMBA.08.1 - 20th Polish Infor Baan / LN User Conference |

 Twentieth Jubilee Baan / LN User Conference (SAMBA.08.1) was held on 16 and 17 June 2008 in Podlesice (between rocks of Polish Jurassic Upland) and Katowice. There were almost 100 participants. During the conference Infor presented new support organisation, BEELC - latest functional extensions of BAAN/LN PL, service and QM functionality, LN implementation reports and DST - LN-based HRM solution for Polish market. There were 7 workshop sessions as well. The participants visited manufacturing facilities of Bombardier Transportation (ZWUS) - an experienced Baan user - with special focus on management of infrastructural investment projects.

SAMBA.07.2 - 19th Polish Infor Baan / LN User Conference |

 Seminar SAMBA.07.2 was held on 23 and 24 October 2007 in Gniew Castle and in Tczew (Flextronics). During the conference Infor presented development plans for Infor ERP LN (Baan), BEELC - latest functional extensions of BAAN/LN PL, S&T - ERP LN implementation report LN and mobile platform solution for ERP LN, and EMC - intelligent data storage systems. There were 8 workshop sessions. The participants have had an opportunity to visit manufacturing facilities of Flextronics - one of the biggest users of Baan systems in Poland and worldwide. The number of participants was as usual high.

SAMBA.07.1 - 18th Polish Infor Baan / LN User Conference |

 SAMBA.07.1, 18th Infor Baan / LN User Conference, took part on May 24-25 in Borek Centre near Kraków - and Lubomirskis’ Castle in Nowy Wiśnicz. 25 companies were represented by more than 50 delegates. The agenda was focused around manufacturing management with Infor ERP and Inform PDM. It included as well system updates and enhancements by Infor and BEELC. Four parallel workshop sessions during second day of the conference were conducted.

SAMBA.06.2 - 17th Polish Infor Baan / LN User Conference |

 SAMBA.06.2, 17th Infor Baan / LN User Conference, took part on December 6-7 in Kraków - Kazimierz and Wieliczka Salt Mine (listed on the first UNESCO World Heritage List). 27 companies were represented by more than 50 delegates. The agenda included: Infor ERP LN 6.1 PL implementation report, Infor WMS (Warehouse Management System), implementation report, Infor CPM news, system enhancements by Infor and BEELC. Four parallel workshop sessions during second day of the conference addressed migration, controlling, fixed assets and production planning issues.

SAMBA.06.1 - 16th Polish Baan / LN User Conference |

 Next BEELC seminar (SAMBA.06.1) took place on 21-22 June 2006 in Wrocław, at premises of Alstom Power. 23 companies were represented by more than 50 participants. The agenda included: report from implementation of SSA Baan Project, presentation of functionality of Project, Service and Tooling packages of newest system version (SSA ERP LN 6.1.2 PL), experience with Sarbanes-Oxley implementation in ERP environment, functional novelties in SSA Baan ERP / LN (standard and Polish version) and the results of latest enhancements voting procedure. The participants visited manufacturing facilities and were presented integrated ERP / CAD / CAM environment.

SAMBA.05.2 - 15th Polish Baan / LN User Conference |

 SAMBA.05.2 seminar took place together with official launch of Polish version of ERP LN 6.1 in Kraków (Wawel Royal Castle Conference Centre). Representatives of 23 companies, users of SSA Baan systems, took part in the event. During the first day (21 November 2005) Mr. Josef Eisenkolb (Vice President SSA Global), presented SSA’s strategy SSA for Central Europe. During 2 days the participants had opportunity to learn more about SSA solutions (ERP LN, CPM, WMS), new implementations of SSA ERP in Poland as well as to exchange the opinions and experience, including so far experience with LN 6.1.

SAMBA.05.1 - 14th Polish Baan User Conference |

 SAMBA.05.1 seminar (fourteenth already users' conference) took place on 7 and 8 of June 2004 in Toruń, in the office of APATOR S.A, one of most experienced SSA Baan ERP users in Poland. There were more than 50 participants from 18 companies - SSA Baan ERP users. Main topic was Polish version of the SSA EP LN 6.1. The programme included also visit to Apator production facilities, with focus on ERP usage and barcode solution, LN 6.1 ODM package (documentation), news in SSA (Baan) ERP, software enhancement process ...and last but not least surprising, informal evening in the old manor of More Beautiful World Foundation in Skłudzewo

SAMBA.04.3 - 13th Polish Baan User Conference |

 SAMBA.04.3 took place on 18 and 19 Novemner 2004. Main topic was first broad presentation of SSA ERP LN 6.1 - a successor of SSA BAAN IV i SSA Baan ERP 5.0 systems. There were 50 participants from 20 companies (SSA Baan users) mostly finance, logistics and IT specialists. Seminar was organised in International Cultural Centre on Main Market Square in Kraków (www.mck.krakow.pl)

SAMBA.04.2 - 12th Polish Baan User Conference |

 SAMBA.04.2 was held on 17 June 2004 in underground of Kraków’s Kazimierz, at premises of Eljot Art Center (www.eljotartcenter.pl). Experience of work with SSA Baan ERP during first month of Poland’s EU membership (sales, purchase, Intrastat, VAT) was a leading topic of the seminar, including experience sharing presentation of newest updates and discussing directions of planned software extension works. Most of 50 participants (representing 20 companies) were finance specialists.

SAMBA.04.1 - 11th Polish Baan User Conference |

 SAMBA.04.1 took place on 5 and 6 April 2004 in Płock, CNH Polska. Main topic was modification of SSA Baan ERP system to fulfill new requirements related to Poland’s accession to EU. Other topics included technical and functional novelties, new Internet BEELC knowledge base and information about European Baan User Group (EBUG) organisation. After the seminar the participants had an opportunity to visit production facilities and to try CNH’s excellent products (have you ever driven a big tractor or a harvester?).

SAMBA.03.2 - 10th Polish Baan User Conference |

 SAMBA.03.2 was organised on 6-7 November 2003 at RAFAKO SA (one of the biggest Baan ERP users in Poland) premises in Racibórz. Programme included, among others: Baan ERP system novelties and enhancements, impact analysis of legal changes expected due to Poland’s EU accession on ERP systems and RAFAKO company tour (photo on the right)... and o shooting contest (everyone survived).

 SAMBA.03.1 took place on 12 June 2003 together with KUBA VI, simply saying “Samba on KUBA”. The agenda included: updates (BAAN IV c4.12 PL), Baan EPM (Enterprise Performace Manager), with Ishikawa diagrams for programmers and introduction of iBaan Business Intelligence Suite. On the right: coffee breaks did not break discussions and analysis.

 SAMBA.02.2 (November 2002, Hotel Logos Kraków) covered (among others) a presentation of integration of Baan ERP (BAAN IV) system and iBaanSCS (Supply Chain Solutions) as well as functional enhancements from BAAN IV c4.10 and c4.11 updates.

 SAMBA.02.1 (April 2002, Hotel FM Kraków) included, among other topics, presentation and exercises of alternative user interfaces (Worktop) – enhancement delivered with BAAN IV c4.9 update. UPLA package (BEELC Extensions) was presented as well.
